Puzzle Hall Poets is one of West Yorkshire’s longest running monthly spoken word events.
We meet every first Monday each month (with the exception of Bank Holidays in which case it’s the second of each month).
Entry is completely free and we have a featured guest as well as a welcoming and varied open mic.
For more information do feel free to get in touch or check out our facebook page
We meet at the Navigation Inn, Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, a dog-friendly pub serving great food and a range of local ales (and a broad selection of soft drinks, gins, and general good pubbery tipples). There’s loads of parking and it’s set in the heart of the beautiful Calder Valley.
Our guests have included Helen Mort, Kim Moore, Andrew Macmillan, Clare Shaw, Peter Riley, Jackie Hagan, Ian Duhig, Ian Macmillan, Louise Fazackerley and many more well-known and emerging voices. Please come and join us and share your words in a supportive and welcoming environment (or just come and listen, or have a chat – we’re nice we promise).
Any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
