meet the new team
Laura Potts was born and raised in Wakefield. Twice-named a Foyle Young Poet of the Year and Lieder Poet at The University of Leeds, her poems have appeared in Ezra Pound’s Agenda, Poetry Salzburg Review and The Interpreter’s House.
Steve Nash is a writer, performer and musician, born in Yorkshire and raised on army barracks across the UK and Europe. A widely and internationally published poet, in 2014 Steve won the Saboteur Award for ‘Best Spoken Word Performer’ from a shortlist that included Kate Tempest and Hollie McNish. Steve is a lecturer at Leeds Beckett University and his latest collection ‘Myth Gatherers’ is available now from Calder Valley Poetry.
Charlotte Wetton is a page and performance poet whose work has featured in The Cadaverine, Staple, The Frogmore Papers and elsewhere. Her pamphlet ‘I Refuse to Turn Into a Hatstand’ won the Michael Marks Award in 2017.
Her audio collection Body Politic was published by Dead Ink in 2012.
Charlotte was also a Foyle Young Poet of the Year in 2001.
